Hillsborough police have made a second arrest in connection with a shooting that happened earlier in July.
Lewis White turned himself in on Monday morning at the Orange County Magistrate’s Office, according to a town-issued news release.

White, 33, is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and going armed to the terror of people.
Authorities are holding White at the Orange County Detention Center on a $50,000 secured bond.
The charges stem from a shooting incident on July 5, according to the town.
On Friday, Hillsborough police officers arrested Diana Jones after executing a search warrant at a home.
Jones, 60, of Hillsborough, is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and aiding and abetting possession of a firearm by a felon.
The town said Jones was released on a written promise.
In a town release, police officers were called around 1 a.m. on July 5 to Riddle Avenue near Rainey Avenue to a report of a person with a gunshot wounds.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg inside the home among about 25 people gathered. Authorities took the man to an area hospital for treatment to a non-life-threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
