A man is due in court on Wednesday after being accused of kidnapping and holding a woman and three kids hostage late Tuesday night in an East Raleigh neighborhood.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived Tuesday just before 11 p.m. to find police surrounding a home on Pin Oak Road, which is just off of New Hope Road. The scene was cleared around 2:30 a.m. and a man was taken into custody.

According to Wake County court documents, Don Von Privette is facing a long list charges related to the incident, including four counts of kidnapping, interfering with emergency communications, making threats and multiple assault counts.
Arrest warrants stated Privette pinned a woman against a counter, hit her in the face and pointed a shotgun at her. In the warrants, police said he took the woman's phone away from her while she tried to call 911 and threatened to shoot her.
Privette is due to appear in court Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
