The owners of a parking lot in the 1900 block of Hillsborough Street in Raleigh are applying with the city to build a hotel there.
The plan, submitted last week, calls for a seven-story hotel with 49 parking spaces. The working title is "The Graduate," a nod to the location across from the North Carolina State University Belltower.
