Two dogs died in a house fire on Canal Drive in Raleigh on Monday evening.
No people were injured.

Emergency crews responded to the 400 block of Canal Drive around 6:40 p.m. for a fire that started in the kitchen. Everyone inside the home was able to get out safely.
Several dogs were rescued, but two did not survive.
The Wake County Sheriff’s Office and fire crews from Raleigh and Cary responded.
