One person was seriously burned and two pets have died after a house fire in Morrisville early Saturday morning.
Morrisville firefighters responded to a structure fire call just before 7 a.m. at a home on Downing Glen Drive.

Upon arrival, firefighters removed one woman from the house and the second person jumped out from the second-story window. That person was treated on the scene for serious burns and they were taken to the burn center.
The woman had no injuries, but she was arrested on an unrelated active warrant by the Morrisville Police Department, officials said.
Officials also confirmed that a dog and a cat died as result of this fire. One other cat survived after crews resuscitated it.
We are working to find out how the fire happened, and the updated condition of the person burned.
Wake County Fire Marshal is on the scene to actively investigate the cause of this fire.
