The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office found human remains on Thursday afternoon in Fayetteville.
Forensic investigators arrived on scene on Friday morning around 6 a.m. Sky 5 flew over the investigation site and saw crime scene tape and several unmarked vehicles near a home on Deep Creek Road.

The discovery came just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The body was located in a wooded area in the 1300 block of Deep Creek Road in Fayetteville.
The identity of the person found is unknown at this time.
