A man arrested linked to a months-long search for a woman reported missing from Fayetteville made his first court appearance.
Monday Tyrique Williams appeared in a Cumberland County courtroom. He was arrested in Missouri earlier this month in connection with the disappearance of Annie Lock.

Lock's family last heard from her in August. She told her mother she was pregnant. She was living with a boyfriend, Tyrique Williams.
After that conversation, Lock's family asked law enforcement officers to check on her.
When those officers paid Williams and Lock a visit, she wasn't home. Williams told Lock's family that he would file a missing persons report for her.
In October, when Tanya Whitehead asked Williams about the progress of the search for her daughter, he admitted never having filed that report.
Within a week, Williams married another woman, setting off alarm bells for Lock's family.
Now Williams is charged with first-degree murder and concealment of death.
Lock's death was confirmed by the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office this week after human remains were found Sunday in a body of water near N.C. Highway 72 West in Red Springs.
Tyrique Zavier Leroy Williams was arrested in Missouri, where he was at Fort Leonard Wood for Army basic training.
The Fayetteville Police Department is still actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Lock's disappearance and working jointly with the Robeson County Sheriff Office to determine how she died.
