Power restored to 400 customers in Durham County after crash damages power pole

Power was restored to hundreds of customers in Durham County Friday morning after damage to a utility pole.

According to the Durham County Sheriff's Office, a crash occured around 1 a.m. at Angier Avenue and Glover Road, damaging a utility pole and power lines. 

At 6:30 a.m., Duke Energy's outage map showed around 400 customers without power in the area, and crews were making repairs.

The road reopened and power was restored by 7:30 a.m.
