J. Cole is set to perform Wednesday night in a sold-out show in his hometown of Fayetteville.

The concert starts at 8 p.m. at Crown Coliseum. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The Crown Complex says the large crowd will mean heavier traffic around the venue before and after the show. Parking lots open at 4 p.m., and parking is free at the venue and in designated satellite lots, but spaces are first-come, first-served.

Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive at least an hour before doors open and carpool if possible.

Getting into the venue

Officials also warn that enhanced security could cause delays getting inside, so concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early.

Drivers coming north on Interstate 95 from the Lumberton area should take Exit 40 for I-95 Business North/US-301 North. Fayetteville police will direct drivers to East Mountain Drive and into the complex.

Drivers coming south on I-95 from the Dunn and Benson area should take Exit 46B for NC-87 North, then take Exit 100 for Owen Drive. Police will direct traffic toward East Mountain Drive.

Drivers should follow officers and traffic control workers as they get closer to the Crown Complex.

Using rideshare

Anyone using Lyft or another rideshare service should use 301 E. Mountain Drive, Fayetteville as the pickup and drop-off location.

Rideshare passengers will be dropped off in front of the Crown Expo Center and directed to the Coliseum’s East Entrance. The Crown Complex recommends scheduling rides in advance because of expected demand.

After the concert, police and parking attendants will direct vehicles out of the complex.

Tailgating is not allowed before the concert. The venue also has restrictions on bags and other prohibited items.

Events before and after the concert

The celebration of the Fayetteville native doesn't stop at the concert. The FAYNC Dreamers Ville Pop-Up and Crawl runs from noon to 5 p.m. in downtown Fayetteville. The pop-up market will offer food, DJs, games, artwork, and J. Cole-inspired tattoos. The event is from Sept. 21-23. 

After the concert, visit Luna on Hay Street for the J. Cole after-party until 2 a.m. All three floors of the venue will be celebrating J. Cole's homecoming concert. 

R&B After 5 is hosting the J. Cole and Dreamville vendor night at Segra Stadium from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event will feature music, local business vendor tables, local artists, and a VIP experience.
