Johnston County sheriff’s deputies and North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement agents seized a large amount of illegal drugs and gambling in a bust on Wednesday.
Deputies said they were serving a search warrant along Dragstrip Road near Benson after people living nearby had complained about activity at the address.

Multiple types of drugs, moonshine and cash were seized.
The search inventory included approximately 197 grams of Cocaine, 160 grams of methamphetamine, 57 grams of oxycodone, 58 gallons of illegal alcohol and about $200,000 were also seized in the search, believed to be proceeds from illegal activities.
Multiple illegal gaming machines were also found during the search.
Deputies said one person attempted to run away while carrying illegal substances. That person was arrested.
Deputies said Danny Bruce Allen was arrested following the search. They now face several charges, including trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, trafficking schedule II-controlled substance (oxycodone) and possession of non-tax paid liquor.
