Jordan High School in Durham was temporarily placed on lockdown on Thursday afternoon.
A student told someone there might be a weapon on campus, according to a Durham Public Schools spokesperson.

The lockdown lasted around 45 minutes and ended at about 3:50 p.m. No one was injured and a weapon was not found.
The school last went on lockdown in April when authorities responded to a shots-fired call near campus.
