Commuters should avoid Kildaire Farm Road in Cary as crews work to repair a water main break.

The town of Cary sent a press release stating that crews were working early Wednesday morning in the intersection of Southeast Cary Parkway and Kildaire Farm Road to repair a leaking water main.

As of 11:40 a.m., crews were still on the scene repairing it. 

There are no reported water service outages for residents. Traffic control will be in place, but drivers should still plan for delays. 

The following traffic restrictions will be in effect: 

• Southbound Kildaire Farm Road (from High Meadow Drive): Drivers must turn left or right onto Cary Parkway; through traffic on Kildaire Farm Road will not be allowed.
• Northbound Kildaire Farm Road (from Queensferry Road): Left turns onto Cary Parkway will not be permitted.
• Eastbound Cary Parkway (from Kilarney Drive): Left turns onto Kildaire Farm Road will not be allowed.
