Knightdale police are investigating after shots were fired at an apartment complex on Wednesday.
Officers were called to reports of shots fired at Parkstone apartments on Park Commons Drive. Police said after investigating, officers believe a person fired several shots in the parking area of the complex.

A nearby apartment building was hit by gunfire, officers said.
No injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made. A suspect vehicle has been identified, officers said.
Police said there is no active threat to the community. Residents can expect a large police presence nearby while the investigation is still ongoing.
