The Game & Geek Expo returned to Raleigh last weekend a second year, bringing family fun for all ages.
The annual gaming and pop culture expo returned to the Raleigh Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, highlighting the vibrant gaming community in the Triangle and surrounding area.

This year's exhibition featured an expanded lineup of activities, including celebrity guests WWE Hall of Famers Ted DiBiase (The Million Dollar Man) and D-Von Dudley of the Dudley Boyz. There were also e-sports competitions, a cosplay contest and over 150 vendors selling games and gaming items.
The event featured a dedicated Kid Zone and gaming area with free to play titles old and new, a Pokémon zone with special events and tournaments and a dedicated area for tabletop and board games.
The gaming exhibition also featured competitions and tournaments where participants competed for over $500,000 in scholarships to Barton College, Louisburg College, North Carolina Wesleyan University and University of South Carolina Upstate for use in general education or e-sports specific programs.
Raleigh-based gaming and event organizer Raleigh Retro Gamers LLC hosts the annual event to bring together fans of retro and modern gaming as well as build the community through gaming.
