Harnett County deputies and Sanford police arrested Berryman around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Berryman’s charges stem from a Monday home invasion along Ted Brown Road in Cameron.

The investigation found Berryman and an unknown woman forced entry into a home with a gun. The sheriff’s office said the people inside the home were robbed.

One of the home’s residents, Melinda Martin, told WRAL News the thieves stole $6 or $7 and her medication.

Deputies are still looking for the woman allegedly involved in the home invasion.

Berryman received no bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing.
