A man accused of crashing into a police car appeared in court on Wednesday.
Izayaih Xzayvin Cooper, 20, faces multiple felony charges after police said he hit a Raleigh police car while driving the wrong way on New Hope Road on Tuesday.

According to court documents, Cooper was appointed a public defender during his appearance on Wednesday. His bond is set to $100,000, up from the initial $25,000.
Cooper is also facing charges for driving with an expired registration card or tag, driving with a revoked license, driving with no insurance and driving while impaired. Although court documents say he refused to take a breath test on the scene.
He is also facing felony charges after officers said he was driving away from a traffic stop on Louisburg Road, driving recklessly and failing to stop at a red light.
He is expected back in court on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
