A chase in Moore County ended with three people were arrested Friday.

Authorities were attempting to stop a car shortly before 5:30 p.m. after a reported robbery at the Going Going Gone store off of 15-501 in Aberdeen.

According to police, the car did not stop and led to a chase down on US Highway 1. 

Police said the driver struck a trailer hauling equipment before hitting a telephone pole.

Two people were immediately taken into custody.

A third person ran away on foot, but was later taken into custody just before 6:30 p.m.

Police said one person in the suspect vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

According to officials while searching the vehicle items from Going Going Gone as well as a second retailer were discovered. Drugs and drug paraphernalia was also found.

The NC State Highway Patrol is investigating the traffic accident as of this report.
