A person of interest has been identified after two men were killed Sunday night in a shooting at a Moore County home.
According to the Moore County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened around 9 p.m. on Gaines Street just off of NC Highway 5 between Aberdeen and Pinehurst.

Deputies found two men with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the sheriff's office, a person of interest has been identified, but no charges were announced. The person knew the victims, officials said.
The names of the victims are being withheld until family members can be notified. Both victims will be transported to the Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy.
An investigation is ongoing.
