Clayton police identified a man who died during a motorcycle crash in Clayton on Saturday.
Police said 31-year-old Alex Kenneth Arble was driving on Amelia Church Road near Clayton Community Park when he crashed into the back of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee.

Police said Arble was ejected due to the crash into oncoming traffic when a 2018 Jeep Wrangler hit him. Police said witnesses and bystanders began CPR until first responders arrived.
He was pronounced dead on the scene. The names of the other drivers have not been released, and police said the investigation is still ongoing.
While police were responding to the crash involving Arble, an officer was involved in a separate accident at the intersection of Amelia Church Road and Veterans Parkway. The officer was taken to the hospital and later released.
It is unclear what caused the crash, but police said no other injuries were reported. The names of those involved have not been released. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is still investigating.
