Motorcyclist dies in I-95 crash in Northampton County

A motorcylist died after a crash on I-95S in Northampton County Sunday morning.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said the driver ran into the guardrail and was ejected from his motorcycle around 8:30 a.m. 

The driver was a 56-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. 

I-95S was closed for two and a half hours. 

Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
