Zebulon police arrested a man accused of murder of another man on Thanksgiving Day.
Police officers arrested Jason Linwood Hedges at about 2 p.m. Friday on East Vance Street. Authorities took him to the Wake County Jail.

Hedges is accused of shooting and killing Robert Cummings early Thanksgiving morning. Cummings was 55.
On Friday, Zebulon police also announced the arrest of Armond Ledbetter, 30. He is charged with accessory after the fact.
Before 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 28, Zebulon officers were called to a shooting in a neighborhood on West Barbee Street at Primrose Place. When officers arrived, they found Cummings unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities took him to an area hospital where he later died.
Zebulon police believe it was an isolated incident and said there is no risk for people living in the neighborhood or the town.
