Police: Officers hospitalized after sedan T-boned cruiser at Holly Springs intersection

According to the Holly Springs Police Department, the officers were responding to a domestic assault when a red Hyundai sedan traveling east on Main Street hit the broadside of the officer's vehicle while crossing the NC-55 bypass.

Two Holly Springs police officers were hospitalized on Wednesday after their cruiser was T-boned while responding to an assault.

According to the Holly Springs Police Department, the officers were responding to a domestic assault around 3:30 p.m. when a red Hyundai sedan hit the broadside of the officer's vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and NC-55 Bypass. The town said the officers had their lights and siren on when the crash happened.
