One person is dead and three others are injured after a rollover crash on Friday along Interstate 40 in Sampson County, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
According to the State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:02 p.m. after a tire separated from a 2007 Toyota Yaris while it was traveling east on I-40.

The driver, Brian Arana, 19, of Angier, ran off the road and hit a guardrail, causing the vehicle to roll before coming to a stop in the westbound lane of the interstate, troopers said.
Alex Castro, 20, was in front passenger seat. Both Arana and Castro were were seat belts, according to troopers. Two young people in the back seat of the car were ejected.
All four were taken to different area hospitals. One of the people ejected died shortly after arriving at the hospital the same day.
