No students were injured after a pickup truck rear-ended a school bus while stopping Tuesday at a railroad crossing.
The bus was carrying students from North Johnston High School. Students on the bus told WRAL News the truck driver quickly backed away, backing his way down an embankment and through a pasture, tearing down a farmer's electric fence before he drove away from the scene.

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, several students recorded videos of the truck and driver before it pulled away.
Authorities have not released the name of the driver or announced any charges. The investigation is still ongoing.
Troopers said the bus was able to drive away on its own power.
A school bus in Cumberland County also crashed on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Cumberland County Schools Transportation department, three students were on the bus from multiple schools. Officials said there were no injuries reported.
These crashes come as a Wake County school bus crashed just one day earlier, leaving three injured. It marked at least the fifth school bus crash in the past two weeks in central North Carolina.
Data from the North Carolina Department of Transportation found that school bus crashes in North Carolina have increased slightly, but remain relatively steady.
