A Wake County middle school was locked down Friday after Garner police officers said they received a threat against the school.
Sky 5 flew over North Garner Middle School around 4 p.m. and saw several officers patrolling the school grounds with long-range weapons and tactical gear.

According to the Wake County Public School System, a Garner police officer received a call from an unknown person who made a threat against the school. The school said it locked down the school the moment they learned of the call.
The district said no students were hurt and there was no imminent threat.
"While I am grateful that no one was harmed today, this incident may have been upsetting to students," a spokesperson for the school said, adding that counslors would be available for students who needed them on Monday.
As of 5 p.m., the school is back under Code Green, and the district said officers escorted students to their buses.
