One person was arrested in connection to a chase that turned into a crash on Thursday, according to Clayton police.
Sky 5 flew above the chaotic scene as law enforcement ran behind houses and through parking lots on the side of roads off U.S. Business Highway 70 west between Garner and Clayton. Video footage showed a car off the highway badly burnt and items strewn all around it. K-9s were seen running around with officers.

A spokesperson for the town of Clayton said Friday that around 12:30 p.m., officers approached two people in a 2013 Chevrolet Impala in a Walmart parking lot after they received information that one of the people was wanted for having outstanding warrants.
Officers said that when they were speaking to the driver, identified as 22-year-old Tyshawn Lamar Satterwhite, he provided a fake name to them. When they attempted to get him out of the car, officers said he refused to unlock the car and then fled the area.
The chase was taken onto Clayton Boulevard and headed west. Satterwhite then lost control and collided with a tree on the westbound of US 70.
Authorities said that he fled the car and left behind the female passenger inside. The car then caught fire, but officers were able to remove the woman before she was seriously hurt. She was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries.
Clayton and Garner fire crews extinguished the fire.
Clayton officers pursued Satterwhite on foot in wooded areas between US 70 and Garner Road near the Pine Hollow Golf Course. He was located in a field near NC State Agriculture property and taken into custody.
Satterwhite was charged by Clayton Police, in addition to outstanding warrants from New Hanover County, Franklin County, and Nash County.
