A man is dead Tuesday after a shooting in Durham.
According to the Durham Police Department, officers were called to reports of a shooting around 6:48 p.m. in the 900 block of Eva Street. When they arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers and EMS attempted to save the man's life, but he died at the scene.
It was one of two shootings on Tuesday in Durham. Police said a girl was killed on North Duke Street when a gun went off while two children were playing with it.
Police said the shooting on Eva Street was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
