Rescuers on Saturday recovered a man's body at a Raleigh lake.
According to a Raleigh firefighter, firefighters were sent to a body of water just off East Millbrook Road around 4:06 p.m. in response to a potential missing person. During their search, they found a man's body in the water.

Firefighters from Northern Wake Fire and Wake Forest Fire Department were also called to aid with the search.
The man's friends told WRAL News that they were out fishing when he removed his shoes and jumped into the water, adding that he had been drinking. While the man's name has not been released, his friends said he was in his late 50s.
Raleigh firefighters told WRAL News that their investigation is ongoing along with the Raleigh Police Department.
