Hoke County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Raeford man on Monday for alleged statutory rape and resisting a public officer.
Vincente McKeithan, 25, of Raeford, is charged with felony statutory sexual offense with a child younger than 15.

Authorities are holding McKeithan on no bond.
On the night of April 26, Hoke County deputies responded to Himalaya Drive near Smokey Mountain Drive in Raeford for a call of a missing child.
Deputies found the child with McKeithan, who gave deputies a false name at the time.
