Three people are on the run after a shooting late Thursday night in Raleigh.
Raleigh police say they responded to a shots fired call just after 10 p.m. Officers arrived in a neighborhood near Beacon Crest Way and found nearly 20 shell casings in the road.

Investigators determined a home and two vehicles parked nearby were also damaged by bullets. The residents inside the home at the time were not hurt, according to police.
Officials say at least three male suspects connected to the incident were shooting from a distance and ran before they could be identified.
The investigation is ongoing as police are working to make an arrest.
