Raleigh fire crews are working to learn what caused a large brush fire on Saturday.
The fire happened aroung 2:30 p.m. on Carl Sandburg Court, near Sunnybrook Road. Officials said the fire burned about an acre.

The fire sparked near a homeless encampment and quickly picked up and turned into a brush fire.
No injuries were reported. North Carolina Forest Service is now working to bulldoze and set a controlled burn to the area to eliminate the risk of hotspots popping back up.
"In some areas it is just easier to do what is called a controlled burn wher eyou eliminate the potential burning by eliminating the source of the fire," said Dena Ali, Raleigh Fire Battalion Chief.
The fire comes as a statewide burn ban is in effect for all 100 North Carolina counties. The ban prohibits open burning, even for burning permit holders. Wake County also issued a burn ban this week too.
Even with scattered showers and storms returning to the forecast, the fire risk in the area is still high.
"Unfortunately fire can move pretty quickly," Ali said. " It can very quickly get out of conrol and we have limited access in wood like this and on top that it's truing to keep up with where the fire is."
The cause is still under investigation.
