Raleigh police arrested a man on Thanksgiving Day on an accusation he stabbed a dog.
Herbert Kearney, 59, of Raleigh, faces a felony charge of cruelty to animals.

An arrest warrant states he was arrested Thursday for stabbing a 10-month-old German Shepherd.
The warrant does not say if the dog is dead or alive. WRAL News has reached out to the Raleigh Police Department to ask about the dog's condition.
