A man has pleaded guilty in an April 17 shooting that injured three people at Triangle Town Center Mall.
Raleigh police said three 17-year-olds arrived at the mall that day and then confronted and assaulted a man working there. According to the police, the man had a handgun, and shots were fired.

Three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Raleigh Police Lt. David Davis said the victims were connected to the groups, and no bystanders were shot.
Marcus Stephon Neal, 18, was charged with:
- Assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury (3 counts)
- Assault with a deadly weapon (2 counts)
- Carrying a concealed gun
- Discharging a weapon within city limits
Court records show that on Tuesday, Sept. 8, Marcus Stephon Neal pleaded guilty to two of the assault with a deadly weapon with serious injury charges in exchange for having the remaining five charges dropped.
Neal was given supervised probation for 24 months.
As part of the deal, will have to complete 100 hours of community service, obtain a substance abuse assessment and participate in evaluations, counseling, treatment, and educational and vocational skills.
If Neal tests positive for marijuana during probation, he will be arrested and have his bond set to $50,000.
