Hundreds of customers lost power in Raleigh early Friday morning.
Duke Energy's outage map shows the 300 customers who were still without power in the area of Edwards Mill Road and Wade Avenue had service restored around 5:15 a.m. There were close to 1,000 people without power during the peak.

The outage was caused by a small animal damaging equipment, according to Duke Energy.
