A man was shot Tuesday afternoon along Poole Road.
The shooting happened just before 5 p.m. after a fight broke out between two groups of men outside of an industrial staffing business, according to investigators.

Police said someone in one of the groups pulled out a gun and shot a man in the other group once in the rib cage.
The man was taken to a hospital and was in surgery on Tuesday evening. His condition was not immediately known.
Investigators are looking into nearby surveillance footage to determine who fired the shot. The group involved in the shooting left the scene in an unknown vehicle.
Police haven't released information about an arrest or suspect description.
