Everyone was able to evacuate the building before it fell, according to Raleigh police.

A BP spokesperson told WRAL at the scene that the collapse was caused by water accumulation on the roof. Raleigh Fire said it was possibly weather-related, but they won't know for sure until the inspectors complete their investigation.

The spokesperson anticipated that it would take several months before the store was able to reopen.
