A Dunn man died in a crash along U.S. Route 13 in Sampson County on Tuesday morning.
Around 7:30 a.m., a truck ran head-on into another truck near Circle Drive in Newton Grove.

65-year-old Johnny Green of Dunn died at the scene, according to NC State Highway Patrol. Troopers said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The other driver was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
Sky 5 flew over the scene and saw two heavily damaged pickup trucks — one in the middle of the road and another off to the side. One of the trucks appeared to be hauling a small trailer.
Troopers are investigating if impairment was a factor in the crash but say speeding was not.
