Fatal crash on US 70 in Johnston County; at least 3 vehicles involved

One person died in a serious crash on U.S. 70 in Johnston County near Pine Level on Thursday morning.

At least three vehicles were involved in the westbound lanes.

There was a large emergency response, including a firetruck, a tow truck and several North Carolina State Highway Patrol vehicles at the scene, which appeared to involve at least three vehicles - a truck, an SUV and a third vehicle with significant damage.
