A single-engine plane was damaged while landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Monday, temporarily impacting operations at the airport.
Airport officials said the aircraft had one person on board. No injuries were reported.

Following the landing, the airfield was briefly closed while crews conducted a standard safety inspection. One commercial runway reopened about 15 minutes later.
A second commercial runway remains temporarily closed while crews remove the disabled aircraft. Despite the closure, airport officials said commercial flights are continuing to take off and land as usual.
It was not immediately clear who owns the aircraft or what caused the damage. Additional information has not yet been released.
