Moore County deputies arrested a Southern Pines man on allegations that he broke into a golf club and stole equipment.
Jacob Armstrong, 27, is accused of stealing the equipment on Nov. 23 at the Dormie Club Golf Course in West End, according to the Moore County Sheriff's Office.

Armstrong is charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony possession of stolen goods, multiple counts of felony larceny including larceny of motor vehicles, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, injury to personal property and first-degree trespassing.
Authorities are holding Armstrong at the Moore County Detention Center on no bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 18.
According to the sheriff’s office, authorities returned to stolen items to the Dormie Club.
