SPCA of Wake County enters new era with Peggy Garner Britt Resource Center

The SPCA of Wake County celebrated the opening of a new 27,000-square-foot facility.

The Peggy Garner Britt Resource Center opened on Thursday. SPCA Wake said it will serve as a cornerstone of the Susan and Randall Ward Regional Campus for Pets & People.

SPCA Wake said it expands lifesaving veterinary care, spay/neuter services and community education. They said it will double the amount of spay/neuter surgeries currently done.

They celebrated the opening of the new facility with a puppy parade!

SPCA Wake is planning to renovate its adoption center in the coming months.

The new resource center is located at 300 Petfinder Way, Raleigh, NC 27603. It is located next to the adoption center.
