A man's cellphone alerted authorities to a crash on Brinkley Road in Moore County Friday night.
First responders discovered a car had rolled multiple times, leaving the driver, a 40-year-old man, dead.

The crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, on Brinkley Road near Holly Ridge Road.
Troopers on the scene said it appeared that speed was a factor in the crash.
