Durham police gathered around City Hall on Tuesday morning in response to a stabbing.
Mayor Leonardo Williams confirmed a stabbing investigation was ongoing around 11:30 a.m.

Officers said there is one victim with non-life-threatening injuries and a suspect was in custody. Williams told WRAL that the stabbing involved two unhoused community members.
Police vehicles were parked along City Hall Plaza. Sky 5 flew over the scene.
Other officers were gathered along Parrish Street and E. Chapel Hill Street.
