A lockdown was in effect Thursday at Hillside High School and Durham School of Technology due to a threat, according to Durham police.

The lockdown was reported around 9:45 a.m. The Durham County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation. The lockdown was lifted sometime after 10 a.m.
