A woman was arrested after four people, including a 1-year-old, were injured in a hit-and-run crash in Southern Pines late Saturday morning.
The crash occurred around 11 a.m. on U.S. Highway 1 near Council Way.

Investigators said 32-year-old Kendra Snipes took off during a traffic stop in Aberdeen.
Deputies attempted to stop the car near the Tidal Wave Car Wash, and the car fled, according to the Moore County Sheriff's Office, crashing into two other vehicles a short time later.
Firefighters had to use rescue tools to remove the passenger door of Snipes' vehicle. A passenger was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
Three others, including the child, were transported to FirstHealth Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Their conditions are unknown.
