A tree down in Wake Forest has left more than 100 customers without power.
Jenkins Road is closed Tuesday between Fullard Drive and Chillmark Avenue due to a downed tree that damaged a utility pole and power lines. Approximately 130 Wake Forest customers are without power, according to the town. Power is expected to be restored by 1 p.m.

Storms on Monday night made a mess in the Triangle, from a tree into a Cary home to flooding in Raleigh and numerous power outages.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are all WRAL Weather Alert Days due to a risk for damaging storms.
In Cary on Monday, a tree fell onto a home on Shotts Court. Ezzie Leach showed the damage, which caused a massive hole over the master bedroom.
"Nothing but a great, open hole," Leach said. "Trees everywhere."
A spokesperson for the town of Cary told WRAL News that they received the call about the tree around 4:20 p.m. as a strong line of storms was passing through Wake County. The storms continued long into the night.
"We looked out and it was white out. It looked pretty bad out there," said Doug Durnbaugh, adding that he had a tree in his own yard removed. "We heard the windows rattling a bit. about a minute or so later we heard a crush, crashing sound."
Elsewhere in Wake County, there was minor flooding late Monday night on Falls of Neuse Road. In Clayton, a lightning strike hit a tree, which then fell onto powerlines in Clayton.
The storms caused several outages in and around the Triangle, with more than 3,000 outages reported in Durham County, and more than 3,000 in Wake County.
