Two people accused of shooting and killing a 17-year-old appeared in court for the first time on Friday.
Naquan Tymarion Clegg, 19, and a 17-year-old boy were both arrested on Thursday. The two are accused of shooting a 17-year-old at The Oaks Apartments on Oak Branch Lane in Sanford.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday. When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old who had been shot several times and several wrecked cars.
Investigators said the teen crashed into the parked cars, including a Lee County Sheriff's Office vehicle, after he was shot. He later died at the hospital.
Police said Clegg was arrested at his home on Brookfield Circle in Sanford. The 17-year-old boy later surrendered to police Thursday night.
Both were charged with one count of murder and one count of discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle.
During Friday’s court appearance, Clegg was given no bond. He is expected to be back in court on Wednesday, July 1.
Because of the 17-year-old’s age, police have not identified him. He was also scheduled in court on Friday.
