Moore County deputies have a suspect in custody after a chase involving a stolen van, Pinebluff police and a deputy.
The chase ended in a large brush fire on Friday in nearby Richmond County.

The Moore County Sheriff's Office said it planned to release more information on the suspect and possible charges the person faces.
Deputies said they located a reported stolen van traveling south on U.S. 1 near Aberdeen. When attempting a traffic stop, deputies said the driver drove away and continued into Richmond County.
The chase ended when the van stopped in field and caught on fire, also damaging a Moore County deputy's patrol car.
A video shot by Sandhills Sentinel shows emergency crews on the scene where a white car and a truck were seen with smoke coming from them. The fire has since been contained.

Deputies said the driver of the van ran into a nearby wooded area. Richmond County authorities are searching for the driver.
Deputies said no injuries were reported. The investigation is still ongoing.
