A Wake County woman was arrested and charged with abduction of children after flock cameras identified her vehicle in Charlotte.
A child was reported missing from Henderson on Monday, and the Vance County Sheriff's Office worked with Charlotte-Mecklenburg police to utilize flock cameras to track Candice Deyoung, 44, across counties.

The use of the flock cameras has brought questions from residents surrounding their privacy safeguards.
One resident acknowledged the value in a tool that could locate missing children, but questioned how privacy concerns could be addressed.
"If there’s going to be some sort of compromise cause people do want to feel safe but also feel safe, if that makes sense. They want to have their own sense of privacy which is understandable," said James Peterson.
Hesitancy of the cameras comes after a Charlotte police officer was arrested and charged with the misuse of the systems to look up a North Carolina license plate.
Deyoung was arrested by Charlotte police on Wednesday. She is facing charges of abduction of children and misdemeanor obtaining property by false pretenses.
She was transported to the Vance County Detention Center, where she is being held without bond. Her first court appearance is Aug. 10 at 9 a.m.
The child was taken into protective custody. It is unclear the relation between Deyoung and the child, and police said no additional information will be provided regarding the child.
