The water main that broke on Cameron Street in Raleigh's Village District on Monday broke again Tuesday morning.
Cameron Street is closed for repair, but there is no impact to water service for customers and residents, according to Raleigh Water.

Ed Buchan with the city said Tuesday's break was on the same water line and 10 feet away from where Monday's break occurred.
Drivers are advised to seek other routes. The 2000 block of Cameron Street was closed to traffic between Daniels Street and Woodburn Street. The closure is expected to last until approximately 5 p.m.
The age of the line is believed to be the primary cause behind the break. Buchan said the pipe was constructed in 1948 and breaks are common with old infrastructure. Part of the line will need to be replaced.
Sky 5 flew over the familiar scene over Cameron Street Tuesday where a hole formed again after water gushed from the broken water main. Crews were there to close the surrounding roads and make repairs.
On Monday evening, crews were able to patch a hole, allowing traffic to flow again by the evening rush hour.
Water gushed from the break onto the street for hours Monday, but a City of Raleigh spokeswoman said water service was preserved to nearby businesses and residential customers.
In 2009, a video of a pulsating, slimy mass in the sewer beneath the shopping center caught the internet's attention. The 'sewer creature' video collected more than 10,000,000 views on YouTube since then.
